International Sisters Empowering Women Lives

iSEWL(pronounced: i-soul)

"Let 2009 be the ultimate year of roaring women! Let our roar be a phenomenon that echos across the planet and out into the universe, and see a wave of change transpire around this wondrous bountiful beautiful earth."

We are women from all around the world, who are making a commitment to create an unbreakable bond of sisterhood stretching across the oceans, a global joining of the hands hearts and minds pledge to come together as sisters in words, thoughts, deeds, love, and spirit of oneness, for the well being of our lives our children lives, and our planet.

We are women who may own, have created or established, or belong to various groups, and organizations, with various agendas, and objectives, but we have a common interest in, the improvement of our planet for the well being of women and children, and all earths inhabitants, and the empowerment of all women, and are bonding in sisterhood to bring that interest to fruition.

Hi Kimberley - do we have a goal yet for iSewl? It's almost Earth Day, which seems like a good time to maybe set the goal.

Hello Kimberley: Good day and good year to you and your wisdom. Yes, we have a common bond around the globe joining together to create beauty, love, abundance, end war, educate, and care for the children and the families. So much more, giving our lives meaning and hope. Let us keep working in the light and goodness and change the divisions.

ECO KUDOS

With both acknowledged and possible calamities as compelling and urgent
catalysts, Raincoast Conservation is advocating for British Columbia's first fully protected salmon runs. The move is an effort to save the grizzly bear species.

This bold and ambitious proposal runs contrary to the historical underpinnings of salmon management, as fisheries managers have always assumed that salmon exist exclusively for human consumption.

According to Raincoast, it is a matter of competition, and the odds are stacked against carnivores in these coastal salmon forests.

I've seen this. It's quite disturbing. It reminds me so much of Bear Baiting. I feel the same way about fur-trappers. They catch the animal using a horrible leg-hold trap or snare... and then when they see that they've caught it, they club it over...

It's absolutely appalling what happens in zoos nowadays. I remember watching a video about a lioness, who had had it's teeth removed, and was sent after a goat. It couldn't kill the goat, but it terrified the goat and completely baffled and screwe...
