I am so excited about the new law that was passed in Bolivia banning all animals from circuses. Read about it on the main page of ecopaparazzi. It is the first law of its kind in the world. It gives me great hope. If activists can shut down circuses in Bolivia, we can shut down bile farms in China!

Hi Julie -
We will not forget the sun bears. Ever! They are part of the Ursa Freedom Project, because part of the money we raise will go to sun bear conservation. There are a number of sun bear Facebook Causes that you might want to check out and see who can help you in your efforts. There might be some folks in the UK on these Facebook sites. Just go to Facebook Causes and google sun bear.

Hi All! Great to see so many people joining the group - I hope that some of you also look at the Save the Sun Bears Group and join!!!! If anyone knows people in UK/London, the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation UK are having a meeting on the 14th March (leave comment and can send more details or check www.sunbears.wildlifedirect.org) - be great to have more members in UK raising money and awareness for the sun bears and helping towards construction of new conservation centre in Sabah (BSBCC)!

I love the idea of you and the artists for creative activism making videos that a appeal to a wide range of audiences. And your viral ideas. This is what we need. Wow! You're involvement is awesome. I can provide you with that plethora of images you're seeking. The videos would need to credit Animals Asia Foundation for the photos. Maryse, here at ecopaparazzi, is our Facebook Liaison. She has set up a Cause on Facebook for Ursa Freedom Project. You can connect with her through the group here or her profile page. I"m going to put the word out tomorrow about the Action Network for UFP so we can al brainstorm and plan more easily. We will gladly give AAUCA credit, links and feature stories. I agree that it's all very exciting to come together like this for the moon bears. Aspire to inspire is a great slogan!

the art action union can make some basic vids that are wildly and diversely (to appeal to a range of audience) creative with music and voice and text whatever... we do need ecopaparazzi however to provide us with a plethora (and I mean plethora) of excellent visual and written material to do this... of course all works will be reference and links back to wherever you would like... we can make posters and facebook gift applications (which are great, but you need a good facebook force to get them out there with a bang)... I have done this before to GREAT successs.....

other viral ideas are to make a good poster and just add it EVERYWHERE... it seems there are a great dedicated team of virals here to do just that :-)

Also... the AAU can add creative challenges in a couple of places and feature this hype in our news publications etc...

All we ask in return for our professional creative design services is that we get a little plug or link here and there... if that's kosha... :-)

Very exciting and looking forward to seeing much more positive brainstorming...

Yes, Bears should be free. Animal need the freedom as like Human.

I went to the green video site that Beth suggested and think it is a good resource for us indeed. However, when I looked at the categories for video uploads, none of them pertained to the environment. So I wrote to the web creator and we had a chat. I made recommendations. She wanted one category to encompass all things eco, so we decided upon Conservation. So all of our videos relating to Mother Earth, including the Ursa Freedom Project, will be uploaded under the category Conservation. Thanks, Beth, for the tip and for your solidarity and support of the bears!

Cool things are happening across Ning networks as other people join us in Ursa Freedom Project. Everything from artists making original art and musicians performing benfit concerts for the bears, to helping create viral strategies through Revolution Radio, and more! We will soon launch the action network for UFP. Camila is trapped under snow and can't access internet to upload the poster and files. Otherwise we would already be on the new network.
